Nov 2011 to Feb 2012 is base! A specialised 14 week base performance program with 28 coached sessions plus supplementary training guide.

The aim is to improve a broad range performance building components and make you a stronger, faster cyclist!

Nobody likes pushing their bike up a hill, to gasp along while your mates can still chat, or to get left behind in a race. Greater fitness brings exhiliration to cycling and proper training gives you the opportunity to experience this.

Class 1 - a fitness test to determine where your sustainable power is now. We graph and analyse your ride in order to set intensities for your sessions in line with your ability.

Class 2 to 28 - Every class is different and has purpose, e.g., muscular endurance; increase your power at lactate threshold; increase your heart stroke volume; improve your pedalling mechanics; improve leg speed and pedal efficiency; increase the force you can apply and sustain; improve your bike posture; etc...

Class 28 is where you put all these elements together for a repeat test so you can see your improvement!


R1950 for the upcoming 14 week base performance program.

This includes 2 classes per week, supplementary training sessions to use on your own bike, access to Cadence bikes for any additional training, core conditioning program.

Your supplementary training guide will be e-mailed so all you need to do is find time for the extra productive sessions on your own bike, attend the Cadence classes, make every hour count and start to experience cycling at a whole new level.

Everyone learns something about themselves and they learn about training. The program provides you with an experience on many different levels.
